South End, Portsmouth New Hampshire Print
from $24.00
Settled in 1623, Portsmouth, New Hampshire is home to several historic homes. The South End neighborhood contains tiny streets full of charming clapboard houses clustered near a protected back channel of picturesque waterfront that leads out to the Piscataqua River.
This is one of my most favorite places in Portsmouth. I often found myself strolling the narrow streets of this quaint area some mornings before I began my workday at a downtown business. Leaving the hustle and bustle of the downtown area was like stepping into a different era. Walking among the vividly colored homes and well-manicured yards always had me imagining what it must have been like to live in the area centuries ago. The view of the South End from New Castle truly captures the neighborhood’s charm. This is where one can glimpse a complete view of the colorful historic homes tucked cozily among the trees along the waterfront.
Each piece is printed on high quality archival Canon luster photo paper and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
