Pemaquid Point Light, Bristol Maine Print

One can't visit Pemaquid Point Light in Bristol, Maine without climbing down onto the large slabs of granite to look back up at the lighthhouse. My favorite part of this day, however, was climbing the spiral staircase up to the light, observing the fourth order Fresnel lens up close. It’s quite a beautiful piece of equipment and I could imagine its brightness cutting across the darkness of night.
