Moonrise, Tenants Harbor Maine Print

My family has been vacationing at a seaside cottage in Tenants Harbor, Maine for many years now and these three trees have always been a familiar and welcoming sight. Last year we were blessed with this spectacular view as the full moon rose behind the silhouette of the pines. The clouds parted in the perfect spot to let the moon shine through and reflect upon the calm ocean below and cast the clouds in deep purple hues.  Sadly, we discovered upon our arrival this year that the two larger trees succumbed to beetle infestation and had to be partially cut down, so the view will never look like this again.  I created this piece in honor of one of my favorite places in Maine and I hope it will remind others of a place that means something special to them as well.  

Each piece is printed on high quality archival Canon luster photo paper and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

12x18 prints are printed with a half inch white border on 13x19 paper and are shipped rolled in a rigid cardboard tube.
